This course is specifically designed as an advanced emergency preparedness course, meant to give students of all ages and backgrounds the necessary skills, tools and practical knowledge to develop an effective emergency preparedness plan that is tailored to their specific situation. This course can stand alone, or build on Prometheus 2A Defense's Emergency Preparedness 101, 201 and 401 fieldcraft exercise.
Purpose
The Prometheus 2A Defense Emergency Preparedness courses give students, the skill sets, and tools to develop and execute emergency preparedness plans tailored for their situation and families. Emergency Preparedness 301 deep dives into the necessary knowledge to choose the appropriate location to start a homestead, develop an effective land use plan, essential live stock and garden planning, and to develop a long term food preservation plan designed to increase survivability and to not only survive, but thrive during a prolonged state of emergency.

Objective:
Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to:

Select land suitable for an effective homestead

Develop and execute an efficient land use plan for a homestead

Plan an appropriate garden and livestock supply for a homestead

Develop and implement long term food storage to increase probability of survival in low food producing periods
Prerequisite​
The desire to be prepared and self sufficient in an emergency
