This course is specifically designed as a foundational emergency preparedness course, meant to give students of all ages and backgrounds the necessary skills, tools and practical knowledge to develop an effective emergency preparedness plan that is tailored to their specific situation. This course can stand alone, or build on Prometheus 2A Defense's Emergency Preparedness 101, 301 and 401 fieldcraft exercise.
Purpose
The Prometheus 2A Defense Emergency Preparedness courses give students, the skill sets, and tools to develop and execute emergency preparedness plans tailored for their situation and families. Emergency Preparedness 201 teaches students the necessary skills to develop a plan for "bunkering-in," to not only survive, but thrive during a prolonged state of emergency, by building an appropriate medical supply stock, knowing how to contact help, coordinate with family, friends and their Mutual Assistance Group (MAG), improve your zoned defense, develop long term food and bartering resupply and more.

Objective:
Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to:

Develop a long term sanitation plan based on the Rules of 3

Develop and implement skill sets and plans to overcome psychological stresses and challenges of long term survival

Develop a tailored medical supply stock, specific to the student's skill level and needs

Improve or develop zoned defense plans

Basic wound cleaning

Advanced water filtration and treatment for increase capacity

Improve or develop a communications P.A.C.E. plan

Deep dive on generators for backup power

Long term food resupply and bartering
